Terms of Service
Last updated
These Terms explain what you can expect from eflowpdf, and what we expect from you, when you publish catalogs with us. Please read them together with our Privacy Policy.
1.Agreement
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of eflowpdf, a service operated by [Company legal name] (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the service you agree to these Terms. If you use eflowpdf for an organization, you accept them on its behalf and confirm that you are authorized to do so.
If you have signed a separate agreement or order form with us (for example, for the Enterprise plan), that agreement takes precedence where it differs from these Terms.
2.The service
eflowpdf lets publishers upload PDF documents and publish them as interactive online catalogs, with clickable hotspots, search, sharing, embedding, custom domains and reading analytics. Features and limits depend on your plan, as described on our pricing page.
3.Accounts and workspaces
- You must be at least 18 years old and give accurate account information.
- Keep your password safe and tell us promptly at [security contact email] if you suspect unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity in your account.
- A workspace belongs to the organization that created it. Its owners and admins decide who has access and are responsible for the actions of the members they invite.
4.Plans, trials and billing
- Every workspace starts on the Free plan, which has no time limit. Pro and Business include one 14-day free trial per workspace; you do not need to enter payment details to start it.
- Paid plans are billed in advance for each monthly or annual period through our payment processor, Stripe, and renew automatically until canceled. You can cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period. [Refund policy.]
- Prices are in US dollars and exclude taxes unless stated otherwise. We will give at least [30] days’ notice before a price change applies to your subscription.
- Plans limit the number of published catalogs, team seats and monthly views. Views are never cut off: if a workspace goes over, we email its owners about upgrading, and readers are not blocked.
- If a trial ends, or a subscription is canceled or cannot be charged, the workspace moves back to the Free plan. Catalogs that are already published stay online, but you cannot publish beyond the Free plan’s limits until you subscribe again.
- Enterprise plans are governed by a separate order form.
5.Your content
You keep all rights to the PDFs, images, videos, links and other material you upload or create (“your content”). You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive licence to host, copy, process (for example, render pages, extract text and create thumbnails), display and distribute your content, only as needed to provide the service to you and your readers.
You are responsible for your content: that you have the right to publish it, that prices, offers and other statements in it are accurate, and that the links in your hotspots are lawful and safe.
6.Acceptable use
You may not use eflowpdf to:
- publish unlawful, infringing, deceptive, hateful or sexually explicit material;
- distribute malware, run phishing or link to sites that do either;
- send spam, or collect other people’s personal information without a lawful basis;
- probe, overload or circumvent the security or limits of the service, or access other workspaces’ data;
- resell or white-label the service without our written permission.
We may remove content or suspend access that breaks these rules, and will tell you when we do unless the law or an urgent risk prevents it.
7.Publishing to readers
Published catalogs are public: anyone with the link, the QR code or a page that embeds the catalog can read it until you unpublish, archive or schedule it to expire. Unless your plan includes white-label branding, the reader shows eflowpdf branding.
We collect reading analytics on your behalf as described in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for any notice to your readers that the law requires of you.
8.Custom domains
You may connect a domain only if you own or control it. When you do, you authorize us to obtain and renew TLS certificates for it. We may stop serving a domain that no longer points to us or that fails verification.
9.Our service and third parties
The eflowpdf software, reader, dashboard and brand belong to us and our licensors. If you send us feedback, we may use it without obligation to you.
Some features rely on third parties, such as Stripe for payments, Google for optional sign-in, and YouTube or Vimeo for embedded videos. Their own terms apply to your use of them.
10.Availability and changes
We work to keep eflowpdf available and fast, and may improve, change or remove features over time. We will give reasonable notice before removing a significant paid feature. Service levels, where offered, apply only if they are set out in a separate written agreement.
11.Suspension and termination
You can stop using eflowpdf and close your workspace at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you materially breach these Terms, fail to pay amounts due under a separate agreement, or create a legal or security risk for us or others. While a workspace is suspended, its catalogs show readers an “unavailable” page. When access ends, published catalogs go offline and we delete your workspace data within [30] days, except where the law requires us to keep it. Download anything you need before closing your workspace.
12.Disclaimers and liability
[Warranty disclaimer.] Except as expressly stated in these Terms, the service is provided “as is” and “as available”.
[Limitation of liability, for example capped at the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim, with the usual exclusions for indirect damages.]
[Indemnity: you defend us against claims arising from your content or your breach of these Terms.]
13.Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of [jurisdiction]. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of [venue]. [Arbitration or consumer-law carve-outs, if any.]
14.Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. We will post the new version here with a new date and, for material changes, notify workspace owners by email or in the dashboard at least [30] days before they take effect. Continuing to use eflowpdf after that means you accept the updated Terms.
15.Contact
Questions about these Terms: [legal contact email], [postal address].
